We didn't win all the games, but we beat the weather!
Thanks to everyone who helped out with food, beverages and RAIN TARPS at the MSU tournament this past weekend! The tarps were literally just in time and really saved the day! It was great to see all you returning parents and also good to see the interest by you freshmen parents. The guys still have some work to do, but they had lots of playing time with the way the coachs set up the teams and that will help by the end of the season. (For those parents relatively new to water polo - those scratches, bruises, etc are not unusual! In the United game with UM-A, I thought the refs let it get more physical then we typically see in the midwest, but this is probably close to how the game is played in NCAA Div I). Looking forward to a fun home tournament weekend. The Kurdys will be staying in A2 so we'll probably have some social time Saturday night after a long day at the pool. Greg
