Potential FUNdraising activity
For all of those who don't know me, I used to play a few years ago with Kurdy's, JT$, Debo, Larsson, and Prior when they were weee freshman. At any rate, I know that a few of us (Arscott, Dirty Uncle Larry, and I for sure) are coming into town for Homecoming football game (slaughter-fest) against the purple-people-eaters of Northwestern on 10/28. It might be fun to organize either a tailgate and/or a scrimmage opportunity. While I know that FUNdraising is not particularly enjoyable, advertising said event to alumni of the program, etc would be a good idea for undoubtedly needed funding as well as an opportunity to connect with past players. Just a thought. Oh, one more thing. If any of you would like to sell your football tickets (wink wink nudge nudge), I could use roughly 10 of them.
